I was intrigued when i heard Scottie wanted Precious replaced with his own HiDef BBIQ Dr. Precious version and now Raps made sure he got his wish

I don't know why he's listed at at 6"6 but he measured in at 6"6 1/4 at the combine without shoes, so he's more like 6"7 1/2 to 6"8 in shoes. Combine that with his wingspan, strength, athleticism and he can guard 4's no problem. Watch him out on a basketball floor and he does not look undersized at all. He's very explosive and a lob threat but also has some wiggle in his game, there is some shades of Siakam with the way he moves out there, a lot to work with and mold despite his age.

I like that. Probably a more accurate comparison than Draymond Barnes. But I'd take either player

We needed someone for the bigger wings. Ochai and Walters can't scale up as well against the 6'8-6'10 wings.

Once again, I'll defer to our FO and those posters here who follow these prospects more than I do.

- Handed the keys to the team
- A guaranteed 228M (with potential to hit 270M)
- Drafted one of your best friends.

Ball is in Scottie's court now (no pun intended). I'm a huge Barnes fan but a monster season better be forthcoming.

I'm afraid Drake has made it untenable for us to throw out a 25 year old PG in summer league.

I was gunning for Filipowski, but it's a SRP in a flat draft - loading up on 3+D types is never a bad move.

Lets see what happens over the next 14 picks.

Scottie was at Mogbo's house for the draft watch party.

Pretty cool moment.

Given his size, can he play the 3 to be the POA defender?

It's just an age gap joke.

I'm optimistic on Davion. We know he can guard, and lots of guys take years to become passable shooters, and he should be cheap to re-sign.

Don't love this. Just think he's too small to have impact at the next level with his game and role he'll play. I also don't think he was the BPA.

Happy to be wrong. Hope I am, and I'll still root for him.

I wasn't sold on a lot of the names floating around e.g. Furphy, Filipowski, Tyler Smith because I'm not sure what they hang their hat on in the NBA. So I don't mind taking a shot on a guy with eye-popping tape and good production.

Small ball 5 usually never work in the league.

Especially with the league transitioning to more bigger lineups.

I'm not saying he won't be successful but I am skeptical.

Reminds me of Isaiah Stewart, undersized PF/C plays with tenacity
