I'd see if they'd throw in one of the Knicks 1st tbh.

Cam Johnson’s contract looks negative to me. I’d ask for a pick back to take on that contract. I’m not sure if the Nets would do that.

Kyle Anderson was ranked last (25th) in free agents. I'd like the Pistons to get him. He won't cost much.

Hartenstein is the best possible agent who has a chance of signing here. Detroit has to overpay, or we'll have a repeat of the last 20 yrs, having horrible free agent signings, even when we were contending.

Yeah, at this point I think their best bet is to sign Clax or Hartenstein and then try to flip Duren and Thompson for a good power forward.

Sasser
Cade
Ivey 6th man

Tech/Holland

?
Claxton
Stew combo big

Not an ideal rotation by any means, but probably the best of a bad situation

Late to the party. Claxton already agreed to re-sign in Brooklyn.

Thought he was with the Pistons before?

Why trade Duren even if we got Hartenstein? I’d rather have two centers (as well as Stewart). Duren hasn’t finished improving at all of 20 years old.

He's a weak defender, and I feel like defensive instincts/mentality is an innate thing for the most part. So I don't see him ever being a plus on that end, and I don't have much use for a center that can't protect the rim.

Plus you gotta give something to get something, and the pf free agent crop is a pretty sorry sight, so I feel the best bet to add a quality pf is through a trade.

And Id prefer most of Stews minutes to be at center

Not really giving up, just trying to sell high. The closer he gets to a new contract, the lower his trade value goes.

Do you really wanna be the next team to give out a DeAndre Ayton type contract, when it comes to the point where you either gotta trade him for peanuts or hand him a bag?

It might just be Drummond ptsd on my part, but it is what it is, lol

I know they aren’t ideal, but…
Tobias Harris
Miles Bridges

At least we’re not creating a hole somewhere else

I’d be open to adding Bridges but I’ll pass on Tobias. I’d be worried about maxing Tobias.

I'd rather pay Hartenstein what it would take to get him than give Bridges a big contract. I don't have a lot of respect for woman beaters, and who's to say that once he gets paid he's not gonna do something else that's gonna get him suspended.

If we sign a center in fa we're not leaving a hole.

I don't want Toby at all.

You mentioned Bridges mishaps but fail to say anything about Gores lol I'm in favor for giving 2nd chances. I'm willing to do it for both Gores and Bridges
