He's actually alot faster than you think. Ran a 3.02 for the 3/4 court. For a guy that big that's amazing because that's faster than most guards.

Solid pick.

If i see someone else call him undersized i think ill go crazy, the guy is a legit 6'7.5 when compared to other nba players and his long wingspan makes up for the height. Hes got legit PF size and can play small ball C in situations.

He can legit guard 1-5 positions and if his shot ever becomes steady then hes a guaranteed rotation player. His form doesnt look broken so it shouldnt be impossible

Combine that with his wingspan, strength, athleticism and he can guard 4's no problem. Watch him out on a basketball floor and he does not look undersized at all. He's very explosive and a lob threat but also has some wiggle in his game, there is some shades of Siakam with the way he moves out there, a lot to work with and mold despite his age.

Everyone else is wearing shoes too.
So add 1.25 inches to everyone else.

only to this years guys. everyone else in nba is measured in shoes already

Dude is a likeable Draymond small ball center

I'm really under the impression he'll be playing the 3/4 and will probably be our future POA defender.

He’s like 6’6. I hope he can eventually develop to be more of a SF/PF than PF/C

He's actually much closer to 6'8 in shoes and will probably be playing the 3/4 and POA defence.

That's barefoot. He has a 9"0 standing reach

If you watch the tape, the athleticism plays as he's not just a straight line run jump athlete. He's surprisingly fluid for a guy his size. He threw down a lot of dunks but he can pull out a euro step too, not something most guys with his type of build can do.

Great swing. He's old but tools are really interesting. Tweener but he might be the guy to create mismatch

He’s not a high level shot blocker or rim protector

6’7 with shoes is still tough to play C no matter the standing reach. Back up small ball C, maybe, but that depends on the match up.

None of our picks really wow me. But I’m probably the most intrigued by Mogbo and his size and athleticism.

I assume he'd be a PF, but yeah I wouldn't expect them to stick him on Embiid, still more of help defense blocker. For a guy his size he might be top 3 fastest 3/4 court sprint for a 3/4 etc. He's got some athleticism.

Like for context Donovan Mitchell ran a 3.01 which is one of the best ever, best in his class that year. Mogbo ran a 3.02. Derrick Rose ran a 3.05.

He is 3 point shooting from playing SF (which is the reason he is not drafted higher and being older).

I think we likely develop him similar to Siakam, will probably spend some time in the G League where we allow him to play a lot more with the ball in his hands.

Norman Powell would be the development path. He will be better than Powell, but same problem as Powell being shooting away.

That being said, LOVE this pick.

Perhaps more than statistic, their measurement are above league average.
Pretty much many on the draft board see Mogbo being our pick.
