You know I was all hyped for the guy....but yeah he was in pain the last 1/4th of the season...to the point he could not play at the end.

The dude was set for a story book season, came back publicly stating he was going to do his SR season to challenge for the title...sat back a ton and let his team mates shine, and turned it on when they needed win. It was very Jimmy Butler in a sense...it felt like when jimmy decided to win a game. Everyone was expecting him to dominate in March....to really show what he was made of.

He had that alpha leader vibe...that X factor kind of thing going on for a bit. Dude is not perfect...but so damn likable.

I really wanted the kid, I wanted him to shine....he was my only draft crush.

just a quick edit....not trying to sound like I know anything, or am second guessing the Heat or anyone...just my personal draft crush...I am sure he is dropping for a valid reason....I just like the guy and like his game.

If the Heat pick up Boogie Ellis and Keshad Johnson as UDFA then it all makes sense. Larssen may have been a player that they couldnt get to commit as a UDFA

Djurisic is like 24 years old Rex. I am surprise you like him. He been trying out for the NBA draft like 3 years straight. He cant shoot a lick. 30 percent from 3 is his best he has ever averaged. He is like 70% from the Free Throw

This is not the first nor will it be the last time a child's career benefitted because of who his mom or dad is.....this is such a routine thing...it is just a part of life.

There is a good chunk of us that are too prideful to ever take part in that....and I think highly of those people. I have a ton of respect for people that decide to make their own road.....but I don't have any major issue with people that coat tail...I dont think highly of them....but I have no major issue with the either.
