Unfortunately for the Clippers in the draft, it just seems like garbage in, garbage out lately. Here's hoping for another Terrance Mann like pick this evening.

You have to be kidding me? The brother of Max Christie? Is LAC perpetually going to be copying LAL? This dude is listed at 6'5'' and is a another freaking GUARD?! When the hell does this franchise draft for size? All they do is get Guard after Guard in the draft and leave the needs as elephants in the room? Now, I'm not suggesting they draft any particular player and I do not know if he was the best player left. But we need size and offensive rebounding up front, and they still draft small, small, small. It's almost as if Small Ball is the go to on the menu.

At least he's not the oldest player in the draft. Progress!

I was hoping for Tristen Newton, who I really think can be Delon Wright Part II. Cam Christie has some game and a frame that will fill out, but he's a development project. That's clearly what we wanted.

A young one-and-done who was mocked higher by some. That's literally about all I would have hoped for at #46, so yay for us I guess. Look at this dude's 1 year stats and compare his shooting splits to BBJ's 1 year, this guy adjusted quick to college while BBJ flailed and chucked.
We can feel good about sending him to the G-Leaague for a year or 2 to round him out and put on some weight, because he won't be 26 after that development time.

I think in the 2nd you are generally going BPA (best PROSPECT available), or at least we finally did! If we wanted our FO to finally not draft 25 year olds, we have to accept that these guys really do need G-League time. A 2nd round one-and-done is not drafted to fit into a roster his rookie season, and who knows what our roster looks like in two years anyway.
(but I'm not saying he was the best available pick or whatever either LOL)

Come on man, its the 46th pick in the 2nd round of the draft. You can't expect all the problems to be solved with this low 2nd rounder. A lot of these guys aren't even going to make it in the league
