I thought Freeman Liberty got waived before the draft, and then followed by Gueye.

Edit: nvm I think I might be wrong about Freeman Liberty.

Glad we're trying to shore up that depth. That's part of what fueled our run in the first place and should always be a priority. We get our own pick next year and it should be top-15 at worst in a better draft, plus that Portland 2nd rounder. And then we get two firsts the next year, which should be fun to follow. But the opportunity to add lots more young talent is there.

We're still probably two years from being two years away, but we should be on an upward swing from here

Just gotta hope that the bet placed on Darko as a good player developmental coach pays off

Can almost guarantee Chomche, Mogbo, and Shead will be in the G League.

Freeman-Liberty is on a full NBA deal, but I don't think it is fully guaranteed.

I know his time here is tenious at best, but we should still have DJ Carton on a two-way.

Not so much for Mogbo, he should be capable of playing off the bench.
The other 2s maybe two-way contracts.

Lots of youth and we definitely going to suck unless we can bring in a big name player lol

This is how I have it currently:

Quickley / Mitchell / Shead
Barrett / Walter / Freeman-Liberty
Agbaji / Dick
Barnes / Vezenkov / Mogbo
Poeltl / Olynyk / Boucher

2-way: Carton, Carlson

So we have 1 open roster spot, and 1 open 2 way spot currently. I'm not sure if Ulrich Chomche will be given one of those spots, or if he will be stashed overseas for awhile.

Quickley/Mitchell/Freeman-Liberty
Dick/Walter
Barrett/Agbaji
Barnes/Vezenkov/Boucher (if he hasn't been traded or cut by training camp)
Poeltl/Olynyk

Shead/Mogbo/Chomche ---all 3 go to the G-League.

This team as constructed is good for 30-35 wins. This isn't a bottom-5 worst record team.

I think I would waived JFL now
I think Chomche will be a two way

This could free up two spots for Brown and or Trent / MLE

But if we want a high pick, let’s go young

For now :
IQ/ Davion/Shead / Carton (2w)
Dick/ Kobe/
RJ/Ochai/Vezenkov
Barnes/ Mogbo /Boucher
Poeltl/Olynyk / Carlson (2w) / Chomche (2w)

2 roster spot available

? : Brown or Cap Space, Trent or MLE, JFL , Nwora, Temple

I think Ochai could start a couple games
I think RJ could take some run at SG on in a while

Two guys that don’t fit in are Poeltl and Brown. Let’s just flip them for whatever we can get.

IQ/Mitchell/Shead
GTJ/Ja'Kobe/Ochai
RJ/Dick/Sasha
Scottie/Mogbo/Boucher
Poeltl/Olynyk/Chomche

I am bringing GTJ back on the cheap and trading Bruce for something

Dick is grabbing that starting spot and he won't be giving it up for many years.
