how do these guys keep falling for this ****

I mean, the kid got duped into believing the whole “Brotherhood” thing and coming back for a 2nd year… also freaked out when Wake stormed the court and exaggerated a “knee injury”

It’s very consistent with the rest of his life

Pretty brutal way to frame the second round.

They should just make all second round contracts at least one year guaranteed minimum or near minimum contracts so that it means something to get drafted.

A strong, smart, beautiful woman can do a lot of good in the world and bring whoever they partner with to the top of the world or they can leave a lot of wreckage in their path. The ability to choose one or the other makes all the difference in the world for how your life will turn out.

Kyle as a high schooler obviously wasn't anywhere near ready to make that kind of decision as a freaking kid. What was done to him is sick, but we as a society aren't ready to talk about the fact that women can be predators as well (even though it's much, much less prevalent). Hence the media silence about the situation, cowardice and stifling tribalism abounds. It's the reason why social progress is so hard to come by.

I don't mind the KJ Simpson pick. I admittedly haven't seen much of him but he looks like he can shoot and find the right pass. He'll help our Summer League team and Greensboro play like an actual team for once. If he shows out in the G League he might take the backup PG role in a year or two.

That's our societal culture today. Not to diverge from the spirit of this thread, but I'll quickly state that certain crimes and violations only matter under certain circumstances, especially to the media. The same media crying for equality often does not follow their own (alleged) wishes.

Anyway, hope it works out OK for him. Going to Utah given the circumstances is insane.
