Dude, JB just won eastern conference finals MVP, NBA finals MVP and helped lead us to the NBA title.

Let's be real here. We're not trading him for Markannen.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

Scheier might end up like Markkanen.

The Celtics with the Steal of the Afterdraft!

Exhibit-10 signing of 6'8" 23yo Tristan Enaruna. Another plus wingspan guy that can sky.

Hmmm... Celtics avoiding any Centers in the Draft and UDFA market so far, strongly suggests they are going to target one or two
of them as Vet minimums.

Yeah, but Markkanen also plays defense like he's 6 inches shorter.

They ended the season with 5 on the roster. Perhaps that's enough.

Tristan? I sold!

...

All Wagner puns aside, his offense seems to be hook shots, hook shots, and more hook shots. Perhaps he's going pro 70 years too late? ;)

Interesting for Dubs. Working under 2nd apron allows them to aggregate salaries to add third piece behind Curry and Draymond. Also cutting on their tax payments in the process.

This is no different than you wanting to trade KP

One is old; one is out injured; one may leave for Free Agency.
Reinforcements are needed...

I like that they are doing their homework and getting these players in for workouts. Not just settling for a bpa available who they didn't actually bring in.

Reminds me of Oshae

Brad Stevens and Mike Zarren big man flow chart, in order of preference and probability:

Option A: Re-sign both Kornet and Tillman. If yes, done! Split the playing time between these two and Queta. All is well.

Option B: Re-sign one of Kornet and Tillman. If yes, look for a vet minimum free agent center for the 15th spot.

Option C: Both Kornet and Tillman leave. If yes, feel vey bad for a moment, then prepare Queta for a major role. Look for at least one and probably two vet min large people.

Possible free agents such as those listed in the article below.
Mo Bamba, Jaxson Hayes, Mason Pumlee, Daniel Theis, Andre Drummond, Alex Len, Drew Eubanks, Goga Bitadze.

https://www.masslive.com/celtics/2024/06/examining-8-realistic-free-agent-targets-for-celtics-at-center.html

Option D: Do something no one has thought of. Like come up with someone no one's discussed from who knows where, which will make everyone nod and say. "Wow, I hadn't thought of that. Ok, good. That'll work."

Theis is very realistic

I like Goga, but someone will give him decent money.

I’d be thrilled with Bomba or Goga….but getting either at the minimum seems a pipe dream.

I dont see a scenario where we dont offer/ they dont accept to resign here (Kornet and TIllman)

They love the team, team loves them. They are coming off a championship.

Also, I think Queta absoluitely has a role next season
