I’m not sure when you started watching basketball, but this has been going on for a while. For example, Kobe told everyone to not draft him except Lakers or he’s playing in Italy. Not every player can do this, just depends on the kind of leverage you have. But to scream and yell about a 55th pick doesn’t make sense. Second round picks hardly ever stay in the league so I see no reason to fret over it.

This. There's a wild amount of people crying in the comments over something that 1. Isn't new and 2. Isn't some damning sin. Do you wanna know the only reason Rich Paul would tell teams not to draft Bronny? Because there's a chance teams would be willing to draft Bronny, which, shocker, means there was some legitimate interest in him as a second rounder. Comment section is blinded by LeBron hate and acting like he pulled strings and got Bronny in as a lottery pick or something.
