yeah, but ben does too during the summer. i see it in his movement and the way he dunks. ben used to score more, just not from 3.

There were a few turnaournds/stepbacks that totally reminded me of JT.

I guess Simmons hasn't been around enough lately for me to pull that image anymore, lol.
Though, Slax did say he'll be cleared for 3 on 3s soon.

It’s a real bummer that Philly used our pick to take Bona because he’s such a unique player, with some crazy fun highlights.

It hurts a little I can’t wish failure on non Celtics picks, i don’t like their teams, but these guys have done nothing to deserve it. I’ll just wish our picks are the best!

Clearly, Brad has emphasized size in the past 2 drafts:

2024
Scheierman 6'7"
Watson 6'8.5", 7'0" wingspan
UDFA Enaruna 6'8, 7'1" wingspan

2023
Walsh 6'7" with 7'2" wingspan
UDFA Vincent Valderio-Bodon 6'9"
2-way contract Drew Peterson 6'9"
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

Celtics signed Tristan Enaruna? I don't see any news about it.

Edit: 10-day

That's funny. Was drafted 17 years ago, never played a minute in the league, brought on as a coach for the Spurs Summer League 4 days ago and was part of a trade yesterday.

It's not a 10 day. It's exhibit 10 which typically means a training camp contract. So he will play summer league for us and then compete for a roster spot (or 2-way) in training camp..

Got it, he's a pick for the summer league roster and possible part of the 17 person roster.

Another big wing to go along with Watson. Looks like more of an athlete but less overall skill and interior defense. Both guys can stretch the floor a bit with 3pt shooting. Will be interesting to see if they both end up as 2-Ways this year.

The text from his son is priceless.

“I will say this, it was nice to go home at 11:30 last night and try to get a little sleep and get back here for today, then just to cram it all in . . . My son was texting me yesterday, like, ‘I’m not staying up to see you trade back, am I?’ Those late nights are no fun.”

Brad has yet to draft a big. Must be confident in Queta? Tillman and Luke's return?

Celtics draft grade from ESPNs Kevin Pelton:
Boston Celtics: B+
Round 1: Baylor Scheierman (No. 30)
Round 2: Anton Watson (No. 54)

With all eight players who saw at least 20 minutes of action in the NBA Finals under contract, the Celtics had the luxury of drafting with an eye toward a couple of years down the road. Given that framework, I would have preferred a swing on Kansas forward Johnny Furphy, who's four years younger than the 23-year-old Scheierman. Still, it's easy to see how Scheierman's shooting and size will fit in Boston much the same way as Sam Hauser does now.

The Celtics took another experienced player in Round 2, Gonzaga forward Anton Watson. Watson offers defensive versatility and shot 41% from 3 as a fifth-year senior, albeit on just 51 attempts.
