Wait didn't someone say some execs/scouts loved what they saw of his shooting in workouts?

This doesn't vibe

Bol can’t hold up at the 5 but he could play spot minutes if that’s our only choice. There are several PGs that should be available cheap though.

Actually, there are a few solid names out there for us to consider honestly:

1- Mike Muscala.
2- Meyers Leonard.
3- Matthew Hurt.
4- Frank " The Tank"
5- John Butler.
*** Pter Cornelie.
*** Daniel Theiss.

Possibly more too.......................................
Undrafted scraps:
Ryan Kalkbrenner, Brenden Carlson, Drew pember, etc.

Respectfully I don’t think anyone there meets the standard we should be looking for.

I understand what you're saying man. But considering our very limited resources and restrictive situation, those standards we may hope for are likely well beyond us right now.

I'm just trying to be realistic to our applicable conditions, outside of potential trades of course. :D

You do of course understand that shooting drills in the draft combine and team workouts are two different contexts situationally right? I mean for some players/ prospects they perform better in live game style situations or team drills and others in individual combine shooting drills situationally.

So it's absolutely plausible that in certain situations, Dunn could've performed better than in others. I see no reason why nba teams would choose to fabricate such statements on how his workouts were perceived by numerous teams. And the report game from Jonathan Givony by the way who is a draft Scout but has no horses in this race or no allegiances to any specific prospects. :D

Just sounds like gamesmanship from these execs who got a private look. When it was for everyone to see, he stunk. Not just bad but literally worst in class. Execs could say anything and Givony is just reporting what he was told.

69% and 71% are both above average percentiles, and both our picks were basically selected in the second round. did you expect 90 percentile in picks 28 and 40?

Beal/Payne
Booker/Oneale/Lee
Allen/Dunn/Okogie/Little
KD/Bol/Bridges
Nurk/Oso

Guessing this is how we looking now. Need to add another center/PF/PG in FA.

You may have misunderstood the tweet. They were 69th and 71st out of 72 prospects in terms of shooting percentage.

So they traded Gobert and got a cheap replacement who is as almost as good as a rim protector but now Jazz are open to trade him.

Why?

Seems like a good kid.

Ainge looking for a small ball type Center or something. Someone a young Horford perhaps.

Dunn needs to shoot 2 thousand shots a day with a broom on him at the arc from now til Season openner. Because Okogie has shown us that teams are very willing to defend Suns 5 on 4 and make it work.

He does look good defensively, but so does Thybulle and that kid at Detroit.

Need to be playable during close games against a good defensive team and not be a liability.

This board is just full of a lot of negative thoughts. What in the world did you expect from this draft?

Maybe Kolek would have been an answer at point and that is a big maybe in my book. He fell to the 2nd round and is a midget in NBA terms.

We ended up with two potentially decent roll players and both could be worthless. Most folks think they were very good picks at where they were drafted.

Damn we did not sign a couple of undrafted PG's. If some do not get their wishes they just give up the ship. What a freaking joke.

My concern is not what we didn't do but what other teams did do.

Dude it says there were 72 prospects in this shooting drill and our draft picks finished 69 and 71 out of the 72 in shooting %. That is horrible. Please read the post
