Took on assets for a small salary dump. Jumped up 16 spots while Minny got under the Apron

We've now got our 14th and 15th guys on the roster taken care of. We just need to figure out how to pull out 3 starters for $63 million in cap space and then sign a decent vet with the room exception and we're golden.

The trade was a solid one. Minimal salary absorbtion, for a several spot move up the draft board. Moore is a complete nothing burger, and we'll see on Klintman

I like this move. Wendell Moore Jr got pretty limited minutes in Minnesota but his college stats suggest he's a good three point shooter so worth a look. And moving up 16 spots in the draft to take a guy that was in the conversation to be selected in the 20s is a win.

Love this Klintman pick. I didn't know this kid played at Wake Forest for a year. Seems like TJ vision is to have a tall athletic team.

Also, yet another LOL at Troy Weaver.

Charlotte just got 3 unprotected 2nds for taking on Reggie Jackson's $5 mil contract. Whereas Weaver got 2 2nds for taking on Joe Harris' $20 mil carcass.

God, Troy Weaver was absolute trash.

Cap space price probably went up this offseason for 3 reasons, Troy Weaver is not donating it anymore, only us and Charlotte are interested in eat salary for assets and teams are worried about 2nd appron and the restrictions.

Teams are starting to be creative to dump salary. Sacramento dumped a few million on Toronto, Portland dumped some on Washington while acquiring Deni.

Hopefully we will get a decent 1st or 2 selling the rest of our cap space, I don't want THJr and a very likely late 20's first for example, I hope we can get something better.

I like this. If this represents how our cap space will be used we have no complaints.

I still expect some dubious signings but we’ll see.

It might be that Minny is trading the pick to Memphis but because the Detroit deal isn't finalized, the verbiage is done that way? Who knows.

I know right. Imagine how I felt when I saw the trade today, after hoping we finally had someone decent running things for us.
