The body language isn’t fun. As soon as the madness goes away, she is going to have issues with her attitude and leadership. I’ve never seen a rookie act like this.

She was frustrated. Gesturing and her shoulders slumping. Seemed like a combination of being annoyed at her own errors and at the play of her teammates. I haven't seen her like that before.

Then again, it would take a saint not to be frustrated with this Fever team. Whether it's the coach's fault or not, I don't know. But I don't see her surviving this season.

She was frustrated. Gesturing and her shoulders slumping. Seemed like a combination of being annoyed at her own errors and at the play of her teammates. I haven't seen her like that before.

That's disappointing, but not surprising.

I've been saying that maturity is one of CC's areas that needs work. Complaining to the refs, body language, etc. You gotta suck it up and keep pushing forward.

Regarding Sides, I don't see her making it past next season, but CC has to learn that as a leader if you're constantly complaining and getting flustered when adversity hits, that's not helping either.

Edit: thinking back to when I was her age, I would get frustrated and flustered a LOT when things didn't go my way. So I get it. But part of growth is learning that not everything will be easy and complaining about difficult circumstances doesn't fix the problem

I think aside from an obvious coaching change, more veterans are needed as well. CC and AB are basically kids, having more veteran presence in the locker room can help them a lot. Someone has to be the respected person to take CC aside and speak truth to her.

It's all apart of learning though.

The rest of the Fever is not. Ah well, at least Jewell Loyd is putting on a show.

The team was really bad, i guess that's why they had the first pick. But Storm were also an impressive team.

I don’t think they are a bad team. I’d put them at around average (it’s only a 12 team league). They have a bunch of offensive talent, including 3 all stars.

That was one of the worst defensive quarters I've ever seen from the Sun

Luckily they're really good and were able to win in OT lol

I've felt like the Aces and Liberty are the clear 1A and 1B teams in the league, then the Sun are a clear step down from them but a clear step above everyone else

Angel Reese with a double double against the Aces.

She's starting to figure it out in the low post but she needs to incorporate a simple up fake. Kamilla is lagging behind her in terms of development. Carter, Mabrey, and Allen all played well. The rest of the team has been preposterously poor. They won't able to change things until the offseason.

Yeah she probably gets to the line even more with using fakes to get defenders into the air.

A good hook shot will also do wonders for her. Either way, she faced quite the challenge last night and did her job.

The Sky will be alright long term, but they need more talent

She's already featuring a sort of hook shot - not textbook or pretty, but quite effective.

The Sky have released Gondreick. I am praying that this means Brynna Maxwell is ready to go

I think that is what's most fun about Angel's game: it isn't pretty at all. It's hardhat and lunch pail basketball, but it works and frankly I saw some things versus the Aces that makes me think she is barely scratching the surface. I mean they had one play where A'ja and Alysha Clark doubled her underneath the basket off of a rebound and she overpowered both of them for the finish.

She's become my favorite player to watch now. This is crazy tbh I didn't think she would hit the ground running like this. Her efficiency is starting to improve each game too

If Angel grabs 13 rebounds in todays game, not only would her double-double streak continue (assuming she scores at least 10 pts), but she'll also be leading the entire league in rebounds as a rookie. She's currently tied with Ms. MVP herself, A'Ja.

It's really frustrating. I feel like for every step forward something happens to send things two steps backwards.

I wanna watch Angel and CC play today. I shouldn't have to be flipping back and forth. They don't do this garbage with the men so why is this the case with the W? Come on
