Plead to lesser charges.

Plead what. Go ahead, say it.

To lesser charges as the original charges were dropped, and the prosecutors publically admitted the original charges were untrue.

Again, not defending him, just trying to be factual. He's an incredibly troubled man who needs tons of help.

Plead *guilty* to lesser charges. Not not guilty. Not no contest. Charges weren't dropped. Guilty.

True, and he wouldn't be the 1st. In recent years we had Demarcus Cousins and Rodions Kurucs. Farther back we had Ruben Patterson and Alvin Robertson.

I get Porter is a turd for what he did, but we had our Anthony Mason moment when we got Dame and lost the NBA’s reigning Citizenship and Teammate of the Year in Jrue. We decided that wasn’t what we needed. No half measures go all in with the talent gap we need—character be damned to second priority and hope the vet and coaching leadership fixes him.

Character redemption stories do happen: Zach Randolph, Rasheed Wallace, Ron Artest (for the most part), Rodman, most recently Grayson Allen who many here were up in arms about when we got him

[quote="raferfenix"]Let’s say Jimmy Haslem gives KPJ’s assault violation a pass, for better or worse…..

How good of a fit would he be?

Does he / can he play defense?

He would be a near perfect fit next to dame can score play D etc

I would like to point out that Damian Lillard has also won the NBA's teammate of the year award in 2020-21

Then I guess Citizenship was the trait the Bucks were okay with dumping, KJP still fits the theme ironically.

What did Dame do?

Didn't win a championship last year so he's Anthony Mason, apparently.

Let's not compare KPJ to Grayson FFS

I don’t want to rehash old gross stuff, but Anthony Mason was as bad as a dude can be. Looks like the Porter kid is pretty reckless as well. Rueben Patterson would be on the Bucks “Dirtbag Mount Rushmore.” I would rather not root for a guy that broke a woman’s vertebra with a punch. But it looks like Haslem might put us all in that position.

Is there a real rumor that we're after KPJ or just random speculation?

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
