Τhe medal favourites are USA, Canada, Serbia, Germany. If any of those doesn't make the top 4 it will be an upset (unless it's Germany because nobody watches basketball in Germany therefore nobody will be upset LOL)

Finland vs Latvia in a few. Got insiders if either team is resting any of their key players?

Davis Bertans started as well as the Kurucs bros and Zagars. They seem pretty much at full strength.
Sochan is back from injury and started for Poland.

i turned it off when it was a 15 point lead. i knew something like this was going to happen. We were missing our best player (Alas), who was injured in practice i believe. If he played, it would just have been a 50 point beating

Lol, truth. German basketball team had one second of fame last year, then German football national team fired their coach almost the same second the basketball guys won the title and media was all over that and nobody talked about basketball anymore.

Mateusz Ponitka from Partizan, Aleksander Balcerowski from Panathinaikos and AJ Slaughter from Gran Canaria are the best players on the team. Aleksander Dziewa, Michal Sokolowski and Michal Michalak are also pretty good.

Aleksander Balcerowski, center. He won Euroleague with Panathinaikos, but didn't really make it as Euroleague player, but for FIBA polish level, he suppose to be very good.
Mateusz Ponitka, playmaker-forward, but I am not sure he is playing this year? But he was Polands best player by far. He is also the guy who kinda washed out of Euroleague this season, barely playing for Partizan, it is crazy how good Euroleague is nowadays, but this is the guy who in last Eurobasket, put a 26 point, 16 rebound 10 assist triple double on Slovenia, out-Luka-ed Luka and dragged his Polish team to forth place in Eurobasket. He is Polish Luka Doncic-esque guy. Again, not sure he is playing.

That story really pissed a lot of people, am I am not talking about just Germany, we in Lithuania were pissed off. It was sad how even in that moment, greatest moment in German basketball, they were a side story.

Going back to U17 from if I mind, USA just beat France 104-81, Cameron Boozer, Carlos' son, who is often ranked neck and neck to Cooper flagg, had 29 points and 12 rebounds...

I watched the 1st half but stopped because it reminded me why I dont watch basketball before U18. Tons of mistakes and athleticism is way too important at that age. Team USA at youth levels always use the same full press defense that nobody can beat because their athletes are infinitely better and more mature physically. And France was playing with 15/16yo kids and none of their recent PGs (Traore and Soulhac turned 18, Kyllian Michee from Real Madrid is injured).
First time watching Cam Boozer, the kid is really good but he's highly benefiting from his superior physican tools. It's funny how he and his twin brothers have the same hairstyle and look alike from afar but their faces are very different. AJ Dybantsa was more impressive, looks like he can do everything at a high level.

I know a few football only fans and even they thought it was completely disrespectful. Could have waited two days with that announcement. But that‘s the fate for basketball fans here: a football player farts > basketball team wins the World Cup for the first time ever.

Sokołowski has been Poland's best player for the last couple years.
