So probably just room for two more (might want to keep open spot for buy out / two ways signings / injuries)
I’m guessing we add a pg and C…. Hoping for Payne / Bamba

Ruddy makes it 13
I think -unless things change - 7-10 seed
budenholzer has work to do even if they get a decent PG like Kris Dunn. I think more likely it will be Morris and/or Holiday -

Great News! - Hopefully Bud works him into the rotation.
I actually would like him to start and move Allen to the 6th man role.
Ok, I know we're all excited that Bol is coming back, but let's slow down a little here.

I am counting on Cam Payne and Aaron Holiday.
I just am not sure the Suns will get Kris Dunn
Chris Paul? Kidding -- he is going to Clippers or Lakers - if not brought back by the Dubs

We'll just need to be smart and stay "competitive" until we get our picks back.
It was an all-in move and we can't move back now.
Unless we significantly struggle around the deadline and then Pivot into considering the KD trades? Preferably to Houston for our picks back so no one else can capitalize off of our struggles. I also get that Sngun is a very good player, BUT if the trade would b to Houston, then please instead give me:
Dillon Brooks/ Jabari Smith Jr/ Tari Eason/ 25' PHX 1st right to swap (Via OKC or BRK)/ 27' PHX 1st / 29' DAL 1st.
Highly doubt Houston would give our picks back in any trade.
But if in a perfect scenario they actually do it, this would definitely save us if everything goes down.

That's fine! No picks ..........No KD. We can always shop him elsewhere to teams that would include picks back too. No sleep lost over passing on Houston if the value isn't there for us.

Funny! I thought people were saying he was a negative-value trade asset, yet has multiple suitors apparently? Maybe he did have negative value contractually? Except of course for the fact of his non-guaranteed salary with respect to the new CBA and potential cap reduction for teams?

Also, Chimezie Metu was declined by Detroit too. And Seth Curry would be nice to replace Gordon!

Re: The Official 2024 Offseason Thread Part 2

My diabolical plan to acquire Micah Potter and Walker Kessler is becoming a potential reality. But all jokes aside, Micah Potter is a very solid floor spacing big at 6'10 248 lbs that is rugged, physical, and athletic. Not much of a shot blocker, unfortunately. But is shooting 43% from three (career) !! BWGood, I know he's no Muscala. But he's still mobile, athletic physical young floor spacing big that can hit the three at a high rate.

Still bitter about Metu. I hope they bring him back.
