who would pay big money for someone who could not close games in regular season? i mean unless you have terrible SG (bucks), you would never waste your money on him.

4th in 3PM in a down year. What a terrible SG!!

pity he cannot defend a chair to save his life.
amusing how some still don't get it, it's not about the offense or the shooting, it's about everything else.

Mostly because he takes a lot of them though. Among players who took 5 or more 3s a game, he's only #35 in 3P%. Hitting high 30s on your 3s isn't extraordinary anymore, it's expected. If not disappointing if that's your calling card.

Klay was also guarded as the #2 option and #1 option when Curry was out. Some of these guys are complete after thought sit in the corner guys.

34 year olds don’t have down years. It doesn’t get better from here on out.

Everything they do is based on Klay singing at 2/48
This movie is like the Rocky Horror Picture Show where everyone knows all the lines.

How satisfying is it going to be for Klay to kick the Dubs in the umlaut after the way they treated him?

He was treated better than any other player in his position would have been and he turned down 2/48

Don't worry, Kerr will get a Chiozza/Jerome type signed to eat up those minutes. Or maybe they already have him in Reece Beekman.

Zero maintenance Klay becomes so sensitive… should not take it so personal, it is a business… Warriors don’t owe him anything…

I saw enough of Klay the last 2 years to realize he isn't helping us win most nights. You can accept his on and off shooting when he contributes on d.
But he's too slow to guard the other teams off guard or 3 guard and gets bullied by power forwards. Thanks for your service Klay, but the reality is, he's a kyle korveresque shooter now.

Best for Moody. Kerr will not be able to play Klay when Moody is on fire, and finds the bench.

The whole Shams/Slater piece is hilarious...

"But he isn’t expected to be there waiting as a willing secondary priority in their summer plan, with his side feeling that the Warriors’ interest in a reunion has been disingenuous. "

"he never felt reciprocated love from management about his firm place in the franchise’s plans, league sources said."

"Thompson, feeling the cold wind blowing from the only franchise he’s ever known, reciprocated in kind, limiting communication and planning for an NBA future outside the Bay Area."

The whole thing is framed as if the source is Klay. I certainly wasn't feeling the love from Klay when he refused to ever compete for a rebound in the 4th quarter. If Klay really is gone, he made his own bed.

Klay moving on is still the best thing for the team. So him throwing a hissy fit through the media is just par for the course for him, which is why he’s been so toxic for the team.

I'm not buying for one minute that Klay's side leaked this pathetic excuse for a "story." Given that he doesn't have a job yet, he has nothing to gain. This is just like what happened with Jordan Poole...The minute the player is out the door, Dubs management starts using back door channels to rain crap all over the outgoing player. Apparently, it doesn't matter how long the player has been with the team or how much he has contributed to the team's success. This is distasteful. It's also likely to be noted by free agents.

Man, it feels like most of you have disdain for Klay.

He has struggled both physically and emotionally since returning from the injures but he has been one of my favorite players of all time and I will wish him well on his new team if he leaves.

I have way more of a problem with the guy who has derailed multiple seasons and finals games because of his selfishness.

I’ll struggle watching Klay in another jersey.

If he goes to the Lakers I’ll kick a hole in the nearest wall.
