Off the top of my head, Spurs, Rockets, OKC come to mind.

Great time. We already had the Ricky Rubio experience and overpaid for him… Thanks Dennis
I didn't mind Rubio. I think he was the least of the Jazz's issues.
I liked Rubio and don’t think he was the issue but doesn’t change my point of we overpaid for him.

I think the Rockets make the most sense. They’re desperate, have good young pieces and blue chip picks.
Jabari, Shepard and 3-4 FRP is my guess.

I think your confusing Lauri with Luka. You can never get enough assets to return full value of a top 3 player, Lauri is an awesome player to have but he is replaceable.

I don't think Laurie fits the Spurs' timeline, the Thunder don't really have anyone Jazz would be interested in (they are not giving up Williams) and their picks are not that good, Rockets on the other hand might be interesting,, but they gave up the best trade pieces they had in the Brooklyn picks.......

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

The Jazz were aggressively pursuing trades for Mikal Bridges, before he was traded to the New York Knicks. Now, Utah may pivot towards continuing a rebuild.
Wojnarowski indicated it would take a massive offer for a team to acquire Markkanen. The Jazz aren't necessarily shopping their All-Star forward, but could move him if blown away with a trade package.

Every team but us has improved substantially so far this offseason, but the Clippers may end up the exception once free agency is done. I love Lauri, he is great, but I want a championship and he can't be the best player on a contender.

In order to get a championship, you probably need 2-3 All Stars. We have 1(!) currently, we already have 6 “rookies” on the team, most of which can only become good role players at best and we already have plenty of picks going forward. Trading away our 1 All Star for additional picks makes no sense to me therefore.
If we trade him, it would have to be for another All Star minimum but even then, I am not convinced we would be better off.
Markannen is great and likes playing for the Jazz. I suggest we keep him and we go “all in” into next season’s draft.
To me, that sounds like the most logical way forward.
