Read on Twitter

Been a while since we had 10+ threads for a single player (or for FA/trade season). It's nice not needing to shake up your championship team that much. Also, the usual suspects from 5-7 years ago aren't posting here anymore.

You have to be very good to win a championship. With that said, a third-string center is important when the two ahead of him are either injury-prone and will be out until January and the other is old and won't be playing back-to-back games.

If Klays expected salary is so low, why leave the warriors? I realise they owe him some loyalty money, but doesn't he also realise his best days are far behind him?

Klay is still having a hard time accepting that his best days are behind him.

Theis and Hayward are my top targets. Fournier I think is washed but I guess may be worth a thought.

There anything we can pay Precious?

Unless Precious accepts the vets minimum, no way Cs get him because he's an UFA.

I imagine they'll use at least two of those spots on Centers given the KP injury, they'll likely be scouring the market seeing what the minimum and what promises to be a decent amount of playing time good get them.

Some targets (besides their own free agents):
-Mo Bamba
-Daniel Theis
-Andre Drummond
-Goga Bitadze
-Mason Plumee

Bamba would be interesting, has some floor spacing which we know Brad/Joe love.

I like Bamba most out of that group, but I'm always open to a Theis reunion (especially if Kornet were to leave for more money elsewhere). Even Drummond could have some appeal but realistically I figure Brad could find better use for the roster spot in that case.

I prefer Saric.

He's big enough to guard Embiid and Jokic for a few minutes.

Only the minimum, maybe he would take to so he could crush his old teams.

Yeah I am assuming some team out there will give him more than the minimum..

The only backup bigs we can offer more than the minimum to is our own bigs (Kornet, Queta, Tillman)..so makes more sense to bring them back..
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

If Philly misses out on Paul George (which may happen if Harden is in PG's ear), the Sixers will scoop up the Achiuwa's of the world.

I’m indifferent if they pick up George. I think they’re still in that second half bracket with New York. Let them war it out over 7 games in the second round.

Yeah, and Cs take out the Bucks in the 2nd round.

If we lose Kornet, I like Plumlee or Bitadze (probably not realistic) on the minimum as replacement. Tillman might be harder to replace for what he can do defensively. Wouldn't be mad if we land Saric or Theis.

People aren't mentioning Plumlee, but he can rebound, pass and score inside, and those are three good things.
And the Celtics were apparently interested in him in the recent past...
