There's a reason for the lack of analysis on these moves from the writers. They don't know either.

With no one able to fully understand or explain, I come back to what Brad Stevens has recently said- they want to give themselves an opportunity to run it back with the same team, and for the moment assume that's what all these preliminary moves allow for.

Patrick Williams got 90 mil for 5 years? Damn. Has he ever been more than a hope and a dream?

Not sure if WAS might have just declined the option on Tristan Vukcevic to work out a longer deal, but if he’s actually available he seems like a scheme fit worth gambling on

Yeah I think there are two classes of journos on this. The big group that kind of gets the gist to varying degrees but not all the details by any means.

Then there are the few cap journos like Smitty who’s job it is to know all the rules and they are pretty good at it.

I want to post that I love and value Tillman’s defense. Very valuable IMO.

When can Tatum and White officially sign their extensions? Assume (at least for Tatum) this is a day 1 item?

Agree, could be interesting. Depends on Kornet, Queta, Tillman if there is even a roster spot left.

Not sure where to put this, but it's an excellent watch. Sam Vecenie breaks down film with Baylor Scheierman together. Watching this just makes you even more sure that this was the right guy to draft. I think he'll be an immediate contributor this year.
