All I keep reading is that the Celtics really can’t financially do anything. So I will not be mad if they don’t do anything but bring back some of their guys.

This is what happens after championships. If they don’t repeat I fully expect Brad to go back into his crazy trader alter ego. But that’s next year, not a week after the parade.

He also can't do any trades besides 1 for 1 players and it has to be like less money coming in than going out.

So he's pretty hamstrung trading too as a second apron team and can't tap into that crazy trader alter ego.

The only solution would be for Stevens to do the one thing he's never done, nail draft picks in the first and second round. He's still allowed to do that lol.

There’s always a need to improve. Maybe Brad is counting on a guy like Walsh or Baylor to break through and contribute, but I’d like us to bring somebody at the 5. At the very least we gotta get X back.

An overpay but the frontcourt would be solidified for years to come. Makes less than Springer, save money letting Tillman walk, can play with Horford or KP, not a FA until KP's contract is up. It's an aggressive move for a guy reported to be available by a team who just drafted a center.

Drummond or Plumlee would be nice, rebounding is still a issue.

Both of those players will most likely be getting more than the vet min.
