That's a pretty big loss for Denver. Brown last year and KCP this year, puts a lot on Gordon and Braun for defense because nobody else on that team so far is defending.

Lavine is a negative player. Therr's a better Wiggins deal out there. No way I'd swallow that contract just for a salary slot.

Haven't they had the most expensive roster or near it for years? Not shocked they're cutting back a bit if they aren't contending. That time will come for our billionaires too.

Re lavines contract: he's not my cup of tea but probably depends on how healthy you think he is. 3/136m for a 2* all star in his prime without having to give up picks isn't bad. Way better than some of the contracts I have seen.

Comment was just directly related to the warriors wasting Paul's slot along with probably letting klay walk for nothing.

Maybe CP3 goes back to Phoenix & Bud finally gets to have him run his team. IIRC he said they needed a PG in his intro presser. Point god available, ex-Sun, close to Booker & part of their last Finals run.

Yeah, more saying don't take our spending for granted. We've also had a top roster the past couple of years despite being in a small market. We look at roster possibilities by what's legal with the cba but so far haven't been handicapped by the owners. I agree a time will come but we haven't really seen it yet.

Seems like Golden State was willing to pay the tax again for Paul George, but short of that, they wanted to get out of the tax this year after how much Lacob has spent in recent years. Can't say I blame them, but it's gotta be kind of a tough pill for Steph to swallow.

I can confidently say that Giannis and Steph would win at least one title regardless of the rest of the roster.
