KCP signs with ORL 3/$66M

Post#1 » by skywalker33 » Mon Jul 1, 2024 12:00 am

Orlando has signed KCP for a 3-yr tour with an $22M AAV salary. Seems he was determined to leave, at least he's in the Eastern Conference. Does kinda make KCP looking like a NBA mercenary IMO, but still wish him well.

KCP is not a Gordon-level player, and Denver has no cap space to overpay him over 20M. I wish him all the best, his role in the 2023 ring will never be forgotten in Denver.

That was a likely result. It also explains why Denver drafted two players who play the same position in Braun and Strawther.
Canned in Denver.

Yeah, but Braun is more defensive minded, Strawther on the offensive side of the ball. Definitely see Braun as the KCP replacement, Strawman as the offensive sparkplug off the bench.
