Seeing some rumors about Klay signing with the Nuggets, which I think would be a perfect landing spot for him.

Truly nuts he’s going to get $35M per. NBA salaries are out of control.

If Quickley is getting $35 mil x 5, all of a sudden DDR's $40 mil x 2 refusal doesn't look as insane.

Maybe you guys are right, just max out George and fill it out with vet mins.

Maxey is definitely forcing a player option in year 5 with these insane contracts. He might be the best asset in the league in years 3 and 4 of that contract.

If Tyrese Maxey demands a player option for the 5th year of his contract, would that typically result in a lower annual salary for the first four years?

Royce O'Neale getting 4/$44 is a bit steep, don't expect bargains in July

I wouldn't be laughing the contracts in the league are out of contral. Thats why I dont know why some are so confident about what the Sixers are going to be able to do with 60 million in cap space. First rounds picks inflation is ridiculous so big deal we have four to trade. That gets you one Mikal Bridges a top 50 NBA player. Thats why we should have been in on Siakam if we could have gotten him for 3 firsts thats a bargain in these ridiculous times.

2-70 for Harden. Pretty much exactly what Daryl wanted to give him.

Rumor was Harden was getting more from the 76ers that what he just signed for. Well at least Harden can opt out at year 2 and become a free agent again and recoup any lost money.

These free agents are so old that they're using vintage footage of CP3, Klay, and Paul George to hype them up on social media.

Great player but maximizing contracts is not his thing.

I believe the Knicks made a mistake by overpaying for Bridges. While Bridges is indeed more valuable than Hartenstein, the difference isn't substantial. Given their roster, the Knicks should prioritize acquiring top-end talent rather than adding depth.

Not only are they worse than us, but they also depleted their draft picks for a borderline star wing.

before Hartenstein, has a player who never averaged 10 points or rebounds per game ever been paid $30M/yr?
