Surprised thats where CP chose but even at his current age, he should be great for Wemby.

This was my first thought when he became a free agent. CP in his prime or at least close to it with Pop would have been super interesting.

CP3 gonna rack up them assists. Great for Castle too to play with CP3 -- too bad they didn't hang on to Dilingham.

Good. Watch CP3 set his assists record at age 48 now.

Great fit for CP3 in what more then likely is his final season. Get to teach the young kids and get playing time and will get a ton of credit if the Spurs somehow sneak into the playoffs.

The Spurs can pay him as well because of cap room. Even if it's a one-year deal. I posted about this in the FA thread. Warriors really don't want to pay anymore lux taxes. Now that Klay is walking as well, their books are balanced again. At least until Kuminga's and Moody's extensions kick in anyway.

CP3 is a smart man. He does well mentoring the younger teams.

He's going to make Wemby's job so much easier.

I get why the spurs want him, not sure why CP wants to do this in what his last couple years in the league will be

I'm like, 95% sure it'll be on a minimum. But I've seen crazier things. Imagine him getting money out of SA lol.

Lol, not at all, and probably won't even playing more than like 26-27 mpg, too old for all that.
