CP3 in San Antonio is so smart for everyone. Spurs get one of the best PGs ever to help Victor develop. CP3 gets to apprentice under Pop as he prepares to one day transition to coaching.

Odds makers already adjusting lines moving Knicks back to be even with Sixers and Sixers haven't even completed their roster. 8-)

Vegas knows.

When is the last time a midget guard led his team to a championship? Knicks will be good but I'm not that concerned about them.

We would’ve beaten them last year if Joel Embiid was healthy

I mean, they need to hit the floor and don't have a playable PG on that roster, for a one year it's a good deal. At worst they can just ride with him.

If CP3 performs well they can even trade him to a contender and get more picks.

Seems like a bargain tbh

Wemby is on target to be a top 5 player this season so the only reason why the Spurs won’t be a contender is conservative management

I’m getting nervous why hasn’t this Paul George thing been announced? I mean, I don’t think Orlando has the space to sign him.

Even with a gimpy Embiid we still should have beat them. Hopefully they really hone in on Brunson throwing himself into people

Viktor is a future MVP, but he's not gonna make the Spurs a contender on the west by himself on his second season. Relax.

He’s coming to the Sixers. If it’s not announced tonight he’s probably waiting to do it on his podcast. It seems Woj and Shams are hinting it’s the Sixers without outright saying it. Makes me wonder if the agents told them to let him announce on his podcast.

That’s why I mentioned conservative management

Spurs have done little until now to help him

He should let my man McCain announce it over Tik Tok via dance.

I doubt it's about announcing it on his podcast, some players would get mad because they must be waiting on him to make a final decision depending on how much money it's on the market.

I think is just going on with the meeting so we cannot be accused of tampering.

You guys don’t get tired of saying who we “should have” beat every year? Lol at some point just give the other teams credit

Anyway, hopefully with this PG signing we can finally get over the hump

Really puts this into perspective. We have upgraded every weak link we had since last year with just Nic Batum being the one guy we need to replace. Gordon isn't that far off of what we were getting from Buddy and it's at the vet min.

Good. I hope Morey isn’t shy about using picks to to get the right guy.
I assume most likely to fill PF via trade with Gordon/McCain/Lowry as the 2nd guard with some Council sprinkled in.

DFS
Brandon Clarke or Santi Aldama
Is a Jalen Smith S&T possible?
Grant Willams (ehh)
Jarred Vanderbilt
Maxi Kleber

Pretty lackluster group of available PF’s under $15M now that I’m looking at it tho.
