Woj: PG to PHI 4/212
Saw it coming, but a lot of people thought he'd be back in LA. East is back!

Embiid Maxey PG combo feels legit! But as usual it's the injuries lottery for them.

Re: Woj: PG to PHI 4/212
I like it, people are just going to bring up injuries, but Raptors also took a risk with Kawhi....you never know it could work out.
Maxey and Embiid alone weren't doing anything, at least PG gives them a slight chance.

Re: Woj: PG to PHI 4/212
Been seeing a lot of handwringing, but this seems to be what the 2nd apron is intended to do.
Otherwise I don't particularly care, as this opens a 2-3 year window for Philly which doesn't line up with when we want to compete. If anything it might make it tougher to steal a game off them, so good if we're trying to tank.
At the same time, I think they'll still lose in the 2nd round every year. The "big 3" era is clearly over, but Morey still seems to be sticking to the stars and scrubs model instead of building a deep, well-rounded team.

On paper looks good. On the court, Im not so sure. Especially since George & Embiid have a history of not staying healthy. I hope they do well tho, anyone besides the insufferable Celtics

Re: Woj: PG to PHI 4/212
I remember the night Kawhi told the Clippers he wouldn't sign unless he got Paul George.
Fast forward to today and he did more with the raptors that one season then his whole time with the Clippers.
I whole heartedly believe the Clippers are cursed.

They have had Jimmy Harden now PG. Elite level HOF SGs, something some franchises only get 1nce a generation, this is their 3rd, noteven a conference finals. Better get it done this time.

In Raptor Ball I Trust

PG is exactly who the Sixers need. He will be that team’s second best player behind Embiid. Maxey as their 3rd best player makes that team dangerous. Now they just need to round out the rest of their roster.
Magic adding KCP, Knicks adding Bridges. East might actually be catching up to the West.

They still need a competent PF to go with this group.
Someone that can rebound, defend and shoot the ball.

Re: Woj: PG to PHI 4/212
They just retained Oubre and Gordon as well as signing Drummond.
Maxey, Oubre, PG, PF, Joel
Lowry, Gordon, Reed, Drummond.
Batum back on the cheap as the backup 3/4? I'm guessing they don't have that much more money to fill out the bench? They still need another 3/4 to start, or does Reed go there?
Am I missing anybody? If not, I'm sure they'll get some half washed vets to come and play for them. But even still, I'm not a fan of that team. I don't trust Oubre, PG, and Joel lol (health and mental).
I'll easily take the Knicks and Celtics over them.
Can't wait for an early exit and Embiid to throw PG under the bus. I bet George doesn't finish his contract in Philly.

I think they are #3 of those teams but they have most of their picks beyond 2025 to OkC
If they can get a little depth..and if Embiid can be healthy they could be a beast.

George is getting overrated by year 2 of this contract he won't be better than Tobias Harris. I expect Barnes to be better than him next season.

I will it could help our Pacers’s pick in 2026
The risk of a 25-30 is slightly lower now . I say slightly because Indiana still has room for internal growth with Walker, Nembhard , Mathurin and Sheppard.
But I think healthy Philadelphia going to be be better than Indiana at least paper
Orlando, NYK, Celtics arguably better than Indiana as well

Re: Woj: PG to PHI 4/212
On paper it’s amazing, i expect that it will be like the nets downfall all over again. If Irving/Harden/Durant couldn’t work healthy, I just can’t imagine maxey/pg/embiid working especially when they injury prone

Sixers still go out in the 2nd round. Embid and PG will be injured.
