Philadelphia - Toronto

Philadelphia trade: KJ Martin (S&T 11M), 2nd
Toronto trade: Boucher

Why for Philly: fill backup PF hole with someone that's familiar w/ Nurse, also could be a useful salary ballast if needed midseason
Why for Toronto: get a 2nd for boucher

I think Philly should sign him to that contract and aggregate in December. Or keep him if he’s playing well. He’s only 23 years old.

i think they need a energy big w/ rim protection like Boucher more than Martin. Martin was pretty bad last year. but your way works too, esp if they dont add another SF

Yeah, I think a big would be better than Martin, but I think midseason if they got Martin on an 11-13 mil deal with UNG future money, it’s easy to aggregate and get to DFS or whatever MLE level guy disappoints in their new town.

But they could just aggregate Boucher.

And if they do your idea before signing Paul George, they can aggregate without having to wait. So you can probably get DFS starting there tomorrow.

Yeah, looks like yours is Boucher for Reed, Martin and a triggering first apron hard cap. Still legal, just feels painful.

And my bad spin on aggregating once they get Boucher is completely illegal pretty much.

The Sixers signed Drummond and have Reid on the roster still.
