The East is tough right now.

The Cavs, Indy, Heat, Orlando, Celtics, Philly, Bucks, and Knicks…. Maybe Toronto are good.

Out west while the Clippers, Mavs, Denver, Wolves, OKC, and Grizzlies, are good maybe the Lakers and Warriors. Health and Luck going to be really important next year.

In 1994, arguably the last time the Knicks were this good, the east was tough as well. If a team is good, they will win. Maybe the total number of wins that the top teams get lowers, as there is more parity, but Knicks should still be a tough team in the top 3 or 4. After that, there's luck etc involved as to who is 1,2 or 3.

Embiid probably only has a few dominant years left so it’s worth it for them to go all in

Exactly. If you don't have any stars on your team your chances to win a title are basically 0

If you have them it now becomes a legit chance depending on 3 factors :

Coaching/system
Line up construction
Health

I think the combo of those 3 favor us over just about any team (despite what was kind of an abbertional bout of injuries for us last year)
