3 team trade

Wendel Carter Jr and McConnel to Suns

Nurkic to Orlando

Little and future 2nds to Pacers

Would love that for our team.

Why would the Pacers do that? And Orlando would want our "31 1st

Why are we paying to get off Nurk? You saw him play this year and rhe numbers he put up, yes?

Dude is horrible. He can score on occasion, but plays zero defense! The one thing people do not realize we had with Ayton is someone that can score anywhere inside the 3 pt line and that opened up other players! Plus he can guard 3-5 at perimeter and clog hole! Nurkic cant do any of that

We just have to analyze which teams carry both those criteria players on there roster. Also, for additional shooting, there are SG options if D Lee doesn't resign too.

Seth Curry was waived but might resign with Charlotte if we don't look to show interest. I like Garrison Matthews from Atlanta as another small inclusionary floor spacing piece in a Nurkic for Capela trade if somehow possible? I heard that Saddiq Bey was waived too by Atlanta?

OKC actually declined the options for Isiah Joe and Aaron Wiggins. Mike Muscala is also a free agent too (somebody better let BWgood know that I've mentioned him again).....lol. :D

Capela is on $20.6m, Nurk is on $18.1m.

Nurk was one of the better defenders on this team.

Team high in defensive rating, defensive win share, defensive BPM and 4th in defensive field goal differential.

Who cares about DA. He's irrelevant history now

Guess I missed this year then. Nurkic was a liability imo and didn't do anything defensively. I would rather have a Hartenstein, Jarrett Allen, Zubac at Center than Nurkic all day!

I'd rather have Embiid at C over than Nurkic

Nurk is the leagues worst defensive center. He might as well be a traffic cone. I just want to rip my eye balls out when he’s on defense around the basket. I’ve never witnessed a center as easy to score on as Nurk. He is just a layup sigh for the opposing team. The faster we can trade that mistake the better.

Probably not. I’ve done trades using the trade machine for Nurkic for D-Lo & Sexton & they failed. D-Lo makes like $500K & Colin $25K more than Nurkic. That is ridiculous. Not sure if the actual league will decline it but this CBA is a joke.

Seems like some players are taking deals just under the MLE as a way (I assume) to work around some of the 2nd apron. Now teams can sign them if bought out.

If there is a market for Nurk - it should be explored.

The eye test is a different story.

I think Nurkic plays decent interior defense and he excels in post defense against the likes of Nurkic, Embiid or other similarly large centers but that all changes if he teams hunt him on the PnR and since he gets blown past rather easily he will either foul the player or they will just blow right past him in the paint.

There's a reason why Nurkic sat out late in the 4th because he was so often a defensive liability and teams knew they should attack Nurkic to pick up quick fouls to get into the bonus.

So why did he sit a lot when the game mattered? This website also had Ayton top 10 in 2023, top 3 in 2021 and yall hated him
