Feels like Lue will utilize a ton of staggering, probably playing Jones with the second unit often and letting Bones and Porter just chuck away

They said Harden is a playoff choker. He was the best player on the team.

They said Harden is no loyal to any franchise. He was the guy took whatever the amount his team needs for to secure Non Tax Payer Mid Level Exception and Bi-annual exceptions. In a day franchise' star for the last 5 years looking his way out for more money.

Big probs to Harden. He deserved to be the face of the team with Kawhi on opening our home. And I'm a Fan of his now.

What can we hope in return for trading Westbrook?
A couple of seconds if we are not taking salary back?

Our Stars when PG13 sits last season;

Harden in 5 games (22.6 pts, 9.6 ast), his 23-24 season is (17.4 pts, 8.9 ast)
Vs GSW Dec 14, 23; 28 Points-15 assists
Vs DAL Dec 20, 23; 17 Points-11 assists
Vs WAS Jan 31, 24; 25 Points-5 assists
Vs SAC Feb 25, 24; 20 Points-8 assists
Vs LAL Feb 28, 24; 23 points-9 assists

Kawhi in 5 games (26,8 pts, 8,6 reb), his 23-24 season is (23.7 pts, 6.1 reb)
Vs GSW Dec 14, 23; 27 Points-8 rebound
Vs DAL Dec 20, 23; 30 Points-10 rebound
Vs WAS Jan 31, 24; 31 Points-9 rebound
Vs SAC Feb 25, 24; 20 Points-8 rebound

No more in game sacrifice from our stars to make PG look like all-star.

That would be beyond stupid by the FO. Unless they think Russ can make Denver worse ?

happy to move on, though not getting anything back is pretty painful.

that's sports, though, and in the end we still have a team that's positioned to be competitive, with a brand new arena, and an owner who is willing to put big monies on the line to improve the trajectory of our team year in and year out.

hard to complain about that!

Change was necessary. i wanna see effort

With Harden, Bones and KPJ, Russ is a bit redundant.

And while he's great in the regular season, he needs a tailor made team around him to excel in the playoffs. Clips ain't that. Neither is Denver to be honest.

Finally we get into actual team building for a change and so far it feels and sounds great! I take it we're resigning Kai and proabaly another big and we'll be set. Not sure about Klay Thompson. He was awful last season. But maybe a change of scenery will do him good on his last payday. Also hoping the Porter kid can turn his narrative around and stay free of trouble.

It’s nice to take a young player that beat us in the playoffs, rather than the Doc Rivers model of taking an old player that beat him in the eastern conference 7 years earlier

Let's not take this too far and overstate things, those guys were very happy to have someone else to "make look like a star", they weren't considering it sacrificing, but having help. Kawhi's health does not become less questionable.

There will be growing pains, losing George isn't all butterflies and rainbows.

What it does mean is that we'll just find new things to complain about as we should as fans, probably everything will be Lue and the front offices fault.

Some FA names to fill back-up 4-5 with Bi annual Exception(2 year 9M USD) and rest of NonTax Mid Level Exception(Up to 4 year with 3.7 M USD);

James Wiseman; Athletic back-up 5 with rim pressure.
Goga Bitadze, Traditional center skills with upside to be placeholder starter.
Jalen Smith, 4-5 tweener can stretch the floor
Precious Achiuwa, Athletic back-up 4-5 solid Rebounder.
Xavier Tillman, Back-up 4-5 most all around option to me.
Chimezu Metu, Athletic back-up 4-5 solid Rebounder.
Saddiq Bey, Starter Level 3-D upside but will miss most of the next season.
Chuma Okeke, back-up 4 with 3-D potential

All under 30 age but If we make one exception for that, then there is also Nic Batum.

I wonder if they are considering trading Mann- perhaps package him with Westbrook, jones fills his role somewhat as does porter

Nah..

Mann, Harden, DJJ, Kawhi, Zubac
Hyland, Powell, Coffey,
Christie, Brown

That's your team. Westbrook and Tucker will be moved if possible. You might be able to use a BAE.

I don't know about Hyland. Kevin Porter Jr not only makes Russ redundant but also Hyland with his style. Can't see neither of them settling for 3rd string role quietly nor playing together with Hyland-KPJ-Powell.

I'll always like Hartenstein, but I don't think I'd want to pay $87 million for him. It's surprising that Valanciunas got so much less than he did despite being a proven starter, not even being that old (only 32) and going to one of the worst teams in the league.
