That is really what should be done, by everyone, when analyzing player salaries and contracts.

Gives them some floor spacing so they can see how Cade operates with a functional team around him and adds the benefit of being a potential trade piece this year or next if Tobias plays well.

OKC adding Caruso and Hartenstein for only Giddey and some money respectively is really good for them. Didn't even have to touch their draft pick stash. Still positioned to make a big move while also having a really good team right now. Early offseason winners.

Philly right there as a big winner also adding Paul George, Eric Gordon and Drummond, locking up Maxey, bringing back Oubre. They're making a Bucks-esque bet on older players and needing Embiid and George to be healthy when it matters, but much like how I feel about the Bucks, I think it's a worthy gamble.

Yeah, Oklahoma City is a sleeping giant in the sense that they have the best young roster right now, and as you said, assets to make another huge acquisition.
