Twin Towers? Andre at the at the center, Joel Embiid at the power forward??? Who says it can’t be done? Everybody laughed at Minnesota, and they almost made it to the finals in the tougher Western Conference.

Like I said, you're looking at guys like Taurean Prince, Doug McDermott, Gordon Hayward (who didn't even play in the postseason), Caleb Martin (if he'll take 7 mill), Jae Crowder, Saddiq Bey (torn ACL), Jordan Nwora, Achiuwa, Saric, Haywood Highsmith, or bring back KJ Martin, OR start Paul Reed.

Personally I think we need to keep Reed unless a John Collins becomes available, or another impact player similar to him. I also think we need to bring back KJ Martin. After that, you offer vet min deals to Crowder OR Prince and go from there. Haywood Highsmith is another name worth mentioning in all of this. He's played well for Miami when called up. Good shooter, good defender, probably wont cost much. Caleb Martin is another one. Poach one of them from Miami. If the plan is to have Paul George play the power forward position similar to the way Tatum plays it in Boston, then you need a quality 3&D wing playing beside him. Either Highsmith or Caleb Martin would fit that description. Prince if we're desperate, McDermott if we can hide him, Crowder would be bottom of the barrell.

Tobias still stealing money!

Hartenstein for $20+ or Val for 10 a year? OKC feels like they overreached with these signings.

I'm not overly impressed with Maxey's talent—don't get me wrong, I think he's good but not exceptional. However, I love his personality and dedication to the team. For instance, he passed up the chance for an extension during the season just to help us clear max cap space to sign George.

At the completion of this contract, Tobias Harris will have made around $300 million in his career.

Everything I said about this being a lot of money is dumb. I wish we were located in a nothing city so the process could have just cooked like this.

I wouldn’t mind bringing back Saric for a minimum. He had some good periods with GSW last season and we know he was a good friend with Joel.

Yeah but Isaiah Hartenstein was a more impactful player in the playoffs when it mattered most. I like Harris as a person but $26 million a year is way too much. Good luck Detroit. But he will probably play well with zero pressure on him.
You want it to be one way....but it's the other way.
