Do you feel better about Towns and Gobert contracts?

A ton of money, but he fits them great and they have the cap right now before they need to pay Chet or Jdub so they gotta do it. They're going to be very very good.

I think Batum already said he isn't coming back. He could be a long shot, but has ties to Rudy and if he wants to play for a winner at this point in his career, there are few good spots left. Plus as a 10-year vet he gets 3.3 million - Minn only has to pay 2.1. Not bad money to ring chase.

That being said, I think Delon Wright makes more sense.

I swear I heard Batum was retiring.

He did say that. There was people questioning it because I believe he's playing for France this summer. Maybe Rudy can convince him to go 1 more year. Or he may go back to Philly.

Thanks. Playing for team France this year would seem like a great last hurrah for him.

There isn’t one. Maybe the new Edwards is in the back of TC’s mind. Overall I hate this signing and think that those who favor it will come to see my way of thinking sooner than later. Either way we must bring in another PG and we probably should use the 14th spot on a wing.

I feel like he’s been saying it for the last five years. Then teams take a flier on him, and he does just fine.

You can not have a non-defender at the 5. You can "hide" just about any other position, but if your "last line of defense" can't defend, it puts way too much stress on your other players.

Yeah in the Denver game where all the bigs were out. I think he may have also got some run with Kyle during the Rudy rib injury while Karl was out with his knee surgery. But I don’t know how many minutes they shared the floor.
