I also don't think Wyc will sell to someone who would completely **** the Celtics up and they must have a buyer lined up.

If this is legitimate and he sells his stake, it's BAD news for the Celtics. He's cashing out on the massive appreciation of the team since he bought it. The new owner will have to pay the current MV AND take potential losses going forward to keep the team together? No way. Next year will be the last year with the current roster. Expect MAJOR changes and a loss of significant pieces in 2025-26.

Woj made it sound like the whole ownership group but then Himmelsbaugh seemed to say it was just Wyc. This official Celtics statement kinda says both things depending on how you read it lol. So I can't really decide.

I think Wyc mentioned in the past, that the entire group was worth $9 billion, so a few of them could afford it...
