Could be another 15-20 years until the next one.

No reason for that take. They're already committed, given that JT will be signed, to be where they are financially for several years. They will only maybe make a few likely small trades within that structure. Nobody is going to dump what is all either great players or good contracts.

If an owner is motivated to sell, they will sell.

Lots of news while I was distracted with work. Still not a peep about Tillman, nary a rumor.

But I do wonder if they've given him a deadline if they gave him an offer.

Its not that difficult to trade somebody when you are over the second apron, as long as you take back less money then you send out.

Windows don't exist. They're just super rare nowadays. We'll see. But this latest news don't bode well for keeping this team intact past next season.

The Jays should buy the team. Be the first players/owners (leapfrogging LeGM James) (puts it into perspective though that their combined salaries wouldn’t even come close!)

Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

Ridiculous to think Batum was taking a vet min deal.

Maybe just out of price range. I would have liked a 2 year deal in Boston for him.

I feel for Van Gundy having to deal with Harden for the next year. I'm sure he wished they locked up George and not give him that 1 year deal.

Agreed. Some guys aren't ready to commit to chasing that ring.

All of the big names are now signed except for Xavier Tillman.

NBA money is crazy. Players like Hartenstein used to be lucky if they got $10 million a year.
