This is so corny. It's tough to think of a player less similar to AI than PG.

almost $30M a year for a back up center... Zubac is extension eligible in a few days, what is he gonna ask after seeing Hartentein? $45M a year?

Big overpay for Isiah Hartenstein, and I really like Hart. I'm prob one of the few who still thinks Hartenstein > Zubac. I just hope Zubac doesn't ask for anything near this price and he takes an extension closer to Jonas Valanciunas.

Hope the Kai Jones experiment pans out!

I'm assuming an OKC overpay here to have him during the years before they have to pay extensions on their younger guys (Jalen and Chet).

Third year is an option.

Lol, that might be reading too much into things, but after all the lost assets, I guess at least now we can move on to a different set of complaints about the team

What does a deal with the Nuggets look like? I don’t think the Nuggets have any 2nds to trade. Nuggets would like to get rid of Nnaji but not sure the Clips would take him, and salaries don’t match up.

Wow, what a flurry of moves. Glad the team didn't fold and give PG the 4 year deal. Harden deal seems reasonable too.

I really like the DJJ pick up. I think he can get a lot of minutes.

Same with MPJ. Most of the time you won't strike gold on "discount" players, but once in awhile you do (Batum, iHart, etc). Just have to keep trying when you don't have much money to work with.

I guess the replacement for PG's scoring will be coming from another signing and not internally? Between the mentioned DeRozan and Klay, I prefer DeRozan mainly because of Klay's injury history, but it doesn't sound like he's very interested.

And while it's kinda sad Westbrook is likely being moved, it has to be done. He looked pretty good in his first year, but fell off hard in the second year. Seems like he still wants decent minutes.

from what I understand Reggie Jackson trade from Denver to Charlotte is not finalized.
If Nuggets want Westbrook, we can probably do a 3 team trade and pick up Mark Williams from the Hornets to be our back up Center.

And Klay went to Dallas in a sign-and-trade that sends Josh Green to Charlotte

Why the heck Batum in is back. Jk. I really like him tbh. Team is ok. It's brutal out west though. Still would like pj and Russ to turn into something useful. Or T-Mann or Zu to be upgraded.

Two big moves... Batum Battalion is back, and someone else offering Klay a bigger deal.

Just when I think this franchise is committed to getting younger, they brought back another old dinosaur. :(

I like the idea of Batum being our Udonis, a coach-uncle on the end of the roster... but not sure why it costs us more than the minimum. (Hopefully that closes the door on Bullock?)

Who is the backup C going to be?

Guessing Diabete on a two-way and Theis being back

Yeah, no way Charlotte gives up Williams.
