Damn that stings.

I would’ve given him that. And use Martin or Reed for a trade. Maybe they really wanted to hang onto Reed in case of a trade.

2/9.6 actually, even cheaper than first reported.

Wouldn't have loved 3 years, but not bad number money wise.

doncic, irving, and klay. What makes them think that then can beat the celtics with that lineup

I think ideally they hope they don't meet the Celtics again lol

but also that series was lost due to no one being able to hit an open shot. Not sure a dude who's last game went 0/10 fixes that but thats the idea

Could've kept him if they wanted at that price. Obviously preferred Oubre and Drummond and I can't blame them.

His wife had to stay on LA after the trade. I imagine the family situation was why he communicated to the team early he wasn't coming back

Does she work out there?

It was confirmed by him he had to stay on LA for a family health emergency after the trade, he missed some games.

I would not want to speculate with stuff like that so who knows what's the issue

Let’s go get DFS for a Martin S&T + pick(s). Waive Reed to make room. Sign Lowry, Bullock, Saric, Cov on mins.

Maxey/Lowry/Mccain
Oubre/Gordon/Edwards(2-way)
George/Bullock/Council
DFS/Saric/Covington
Embiid/Drummond/Bona

PG a good signing and huge step in the right direction. Our window is not long and we have to go all in now.

We still have to use our remaining assets to get 1 or 2 more quality players. Only with PG and Drummond we ain't getting it done.

There is any chance we still can get Markannen?

Got way more than I expected. Glad the Sixers didn't go there with the back concerns. They definitely need another SG now though.

I had no interest in Melton. Can't trust backs and you don't need a 3rd starter with injury concerns.

Kris Dunn would be a fun add for situational defensive purposes, especially if Lowry doesn’t return.

Knicks fans are pretty full of themselves after one playoff run and giving out 5 FRP for Mikal Bridges, huh

Happy for Melton that he got that much on a one year prove it deal. He’ll be a good fit in GS.

Losing Hart is way bigger than they think. Bridges is a good player, but they had already had good wings/guards.
