There was a report talking about the Pelicans looking to trade Brandon Ingram, but also being open to signing him long-term to a sub-max deal. The latter situation is what I'd have interest in, and not in terms of Ingram directly, but what that would mean for their other wings.

I'd give up A LOT for Trey Murphy.

Haywood Highsmith as a complimentary wing?

I feel like Morey is going to shift now to lining up the trades for Martin and Reed before fishing for vet mins.

What are the odds the Nets just cut Bogdanovic as part of the Bridges trade? Haven't heard about it, but the deal also isn't technically completed yet.

Bojan would be a good Batum replacement.

Eagles brought back the Kelly greens, Phillies have powder blues at times.

C'mon Sixers.

What are thoughts on Dean Wade if we could get him off Cleveland for maybe a pick and a swap?

I hope so. This can't be Paul George and a bunch of veteran minimums.

Need a tough hard nosed rebounder at the 4. He doesn’t have to score, but we need someone to do dirty work no question about it. I would love to find a way to get Bobby Portis, but probably a longshot.

Do you really think Sixers record in next 3 years is worse than the Cavs?

I agree with you on all parts of this post. A rebounding, dirty work type. Yet I mentioned just letting Paul Reed and KJ Martin play these roles and people don't like it. I'd personally like to know what trade options are out there. Brooklyn looks to be selling...DFS? Washington too, but they have nothing unless you like Marvin Bagley. Would Detroit part with Isaiah Stewart? Utah is selling but who TF wants to deal with Ainge? John Collins is ideal and Utah did try to poach Reed last summer, so there is that. I think Collins is the one to keep an eye on.

We can't afford John Collins. He would bust us through the Apron hard cap.

We can only afford one more guy in the $10m/yr range. Which brings us back to Kyle Anderson.

for a player like Dean Wade I would not do anything to potentially complicate the value of a 1st that I could be looking to trade

by "a player like Dean Wade" I mean one who would not be in a playoff rotation because he has few identifiable strengths and he also quite often injured so he won't even help keep the ship moving while Embiid/George are banged up during the regular season

as a FA on a minimum, sure

trading anything for him at $6M for the next 2 years, see above

TBH not really fussed about Melton dipping. He's a really good defender for the position and has some decent range at 6'2 with that massive wingspan, he can also shoot a bit. Pretty disappointing effectiveness when he puts the ball on the floor and he's one of the worst finishers around the rim I've seen.

His shooting performance game six against Boston up 3-2 rivals Tobias game four 2019 against the Raptors. Totally decomposed under the bright lights with wide open corner three after another.

His health also seems to be deteriorating.

Farewell to him though, he seemed like a really cool guy around the community and with the team and he succeeded in his role. Health permitting he should bring positive value to Golden State.
