Everyone’s thinking it but nobody wants to say it

Free Steph!!

Unless he wants to finish the twilight of his career in purgatory (his right to decide) but the Warriors could really use some future assets. Honestly they’re going nowhere in the west and stuck in no man’s land. Selfishly it would be fun to see him competing for a title somewhere to end his career.

Steph Curry a few years ago "The only team I would consider playing for other than the Warriors are the Charlotte Hornets"

Send that man home where he belongs.

I miss the days when people respected athletes who spent their entire career repping one team.

Steph Curry is the highest paid player the NBA. The warriors did very well by him and surrounded him with talent throughout his career.

He should be one of the few players who retire with the teams that drafted them, like Duncan & Kobe

IMO his career would look better if he stays with the same team to the end instead of ring chasing. He don't really need to, he has plenty of them already.

Russell, West, Bird, Magic, Kobe, Dirk, Timmy. Not a bad company to be in.

Interestingly this was a scenario I didn't think about at all when I read the thread title.

Perhaps, but trading him and Draymond could help the rebuild.

I don't mean this disrespectfully, OP, but it seems like it's more about you wanting him to move teams versus Steph himself.

If he wanted to leave, he can have that discussion with the FO.

And if the FO is willing to make that decision, it's within their right.

Warriors going to do everything to ensure he is a lifer like Kobe or Dirk. He’s not going anywhere

Steph can do whatever he wants -- seems like he wants to be a 1 team guy. I'd understand but be sad if he asked out. He hasn't shown any indication of wanting to move, so I'm pretty sure he will be a Warrior lifer.

But sure, some part of my wonders what he'd look like say plugged in for one more run on a contender. Not that the deal would work, but could you imagine Steph on the Nuggets? Jokic-Steph, my god.

That's like saying Kobe should've gone to Philly his last couple years in the league. And Kobe was at least born in Philly.

What's reallly amazing is that as far back as 6 years ago, Steph was already the only guy from the 2009 draft to remain with his original team.

He has 4 rings, let him fade into obscurity like LeBron James, Kawhi Leonard and Kevin Durant

GSW should think about trading him first before he has to request one himself.

They are done. The rebuild is waiting.

Same.

Folks basically bullied Lillard into demanding a trade last summer then made him a villain after that lol

But then Lebron James happened and ring whoring every year of your career became accepted by fans of this era lol.
