Give him the Max ...this will happen just around the time the wheels start to come off of the Bucks organization and Giannis will want out... trade Randle for Greek freak.

The Knicks are in a great spot until you remember that for them to win games they need Mitch to be healthy, not in foul trouble, and if both those options don’t happen then Sims has to play well….

It’s just hard to imagine all those things going right often.

All the deals, trades, etc. we heard about have been officially agreed upon "in principle." However, the actual signing of the contracts doesn't happen until July 6.

Deals (including our deal for Bridges) can be tweaked until that date.

The reported deal is the deal that will happen if there are no adjustments, no Deuce, just Bogie and the picks but it means the Knicks get hard capped at the first apron because of some quirky rule about receiving more money than sending out while being over the cap.

Yet they would still be able to add another player or few because they currently are millions below the first apron since they didn't retain iHart so they can use the taxpayer exception and vetmins until they get to the first apron, then they are capped....I believe.

Leon needs to call that snake Ainge and see what it will take to get Walker Kessler. He is the ideal Thibs C who can rebound block shots and is a great roll man who can finish around the basket. There are some picks we can still use. We are all in.

Highly doubt Ainge would trade Kessler without receiving at least one unprotected pick back.

He can have a protected Wash or Detroit pick and a couple of 2nds. That's it

With Ayton at Center and drafting Clingan and even Duop Reath on the roster I would think Williams is the odd man out.
Otherwise I guess we can just resign Precious or take a chance on Wiseman. :dontknow:

Exactly what I said. He's the only reasonable center I would know. Sure not the greatest on offense but better than Precious.

Getting Wiseman is a sign that Sims is the back up and probably playing 18 minutes a night and they are hoping they can get Wiseman right enough that he can be the 3rd center.

All I hear is that he is bad at everything but maybe the Knicks could fix him to be a rim runner. It’s not unheard of Bigs changing their game to specialize and be better. For example, Tyson Chandler was drafted with the belief he would become the next KG.

Anyhow, it’s far from ideal but it’s better than nothing. I think….. :nonono:

We should look at Daniel Theis. Always liked his game.

I think we also have a TPE from the Obi trade.

The problem with Mitch is it’s a skills league now and starting an offensively challenged player deep into the playoffs is dangerous.

The Celtics are great because offensively everyone of their starters are skilled and is a threat. You can’t lay off any of their players and leave them open.
