I am not opposed to that idea actually. But I believe I am in the Minority in wanting to give Rookies a "real" chance. Can't imagine Joe giving him anything but directions to the Maine Celtics.

At LO-O-O-ONG last, I am off the Bryant train for this team. I love the player, but I think the offensive production at the 5 is well covered enough with this group that his defensive limitations reduce his allure. I don't have a sense of Saric's present state of defense, particularly in space, to weigh in emphatically. I am VERY dug in on Tillman. And that was before his showing in the Finals defending Dallas' perimeter stars, but that bolded and underlined my sentiment. Robert Covington is a plan B I would support, but less enthusiastically.

I think we would ideally want a guy that can be 9th or 10th…Tillman, Saric……

If not then just filling a roster spot with a guy that can play in emergencies…I’d just go Watson or Peterson…or Chimeize Metu. I’ll learn to spell his name if we sign him.
