Suggs has improved every season he has been here and we dont know what is his ceiling yet. I dont get how Franz is considered untradeable, but Suggs is part of so many "dream" scenarios...

Interesting that we have all talked about M-Wagner getting the room, but yes, it could be Bitadze. That actually explains the "why 25M" for Bitadze, as it is the room-level max.

As it is rumored that Isaac could get a 13M pay increase this year, that would mean M-Wagner could be given a 10M per annum paycheck.

It does kind of feel like M-Wagner should make more than Bitadze. Also, this means that the Magic would tie up about 28M per year in the C rotation, collectively. That is 20% of the cap, which is exactly what every positional slot should cost, if the goal is to sum to 100%.

Uh, say what now? They're going to give him 30 million dollars a season? That guy should give us a discount!

Little surprised me when Orlando opted for Harris over Kennard or Hield

Caldwell-Pope replaces Fultz and da Silva replaces Okeke, so only Ingles replacement left for consideration.

I'm surprised about the Gary resigning as well, but it is a minimal financial commitment in today's market. When we drafted AB and Jett, I considered them the final piece of our asset accumulation. If we really don't think they can outplay Gary, I would see what we could get for them. I would go in on Markannen if we think we can play center. Kessler and Sexton would be great targets as well. A WCJ, Cole and a pick for Kessler and Sexton could have some potential.

Brought back most of a 47 win team and made some solid upgrades. Not flashy but nothing really to complain about. Any of the core 3 makes a decent sized jump and we are going to be very good. If all 3 make a jump...forget about it.

Hield prob wants playing time and more money and Gary is fine getting DNPs.

The roster is just screaming for a consolidation trade.

And they need to do it in the summer so the hurt feelings of trading somebody’s buddy have time to subside.

But that isn’t gonna happen.

And Weltman very clearly isn’t the kind of executive who will make a move when things are going well, even if well is a relative term compared to other teams.

The only way you’ll see things get a shake up is if they’re NOT going well and Weltman feels the need to pivot, but if that ends up being the case, the Magic will have wasted at least a year and a half of potential development on two lotto picks while also killing their trade value in the process.

Weltman make a consolidation trade? Lmfao

I bet every player on this roster that he drafted ends up like Okeke, Bamba, and Fultz. Wasting away until they walk for zero return.

You don't see the text from the RealGM tweet scraper?

Yall are going to hate this, but I feel a giant Cavs/Magic trade coming. Paolo asked for a distributor and we’ve created the depth this summer to accommodate it. Consider KCP as a Suggs replacement vs backcourt partner. Garland/KCP and Mitchell/Suggs are well-balanced backcourts. @cigamodnalro

I would burn Weltman’s house down.
