The more film I watch on this guy, the more I like him. He's my type of player.

I am not worried about his size. He has a stong build like Fred, but he is slightly taller & slightly longer than Fred. He was 3rd overall in the 3/4 sprint, so he is very fast........faster than Fred. He also has a much quicker first step than Fred. His passing ability and BBall IQ are very high.

He is playable now, but if he can develop a reliable 3, he can be a starter in this league.

Interesting, does Shead have a floater game? What about heavy hands (strip balls in the key)?

I saw him rip many balls out of guys hands often...even guys much bigger than him. He just wants it more than the opponent seemingly every time. I can't recall his floater game..I think I was too excited/focused on his defense lol.

I just watched the whole thing and I've convinced myself that he can still be a positive offensive player if the 3 doesn't progress much. He is so smart with the balls, good passer, drives to the lane well, splits/goes around double teams well, and is quite quick and bouncy.

I love everything about his defence. What stood out for me in this video was how well affects shots/passes with pressure, instinct, and doing all the little things to throw shooters off.

I just watched the whole thing and I've convinced myself that he can still be a positive offensive player if the 3 doesn't progress much. He is so smart with the balls, good passer, drives to the lane well, splits/goes around double teams well, and is quite quick and bouncy.

I love everything about his defence. What stood out for me in this video was how well affects shots/passes with pressure, instinct, and doing all the little things to throw shooters off.

The guy just scream Lowry lite to me. He seems really smart, hustle, die on the court kind of guy.

I hope he gets a shot at the backup point

I agree. I see it too. This is what gets me excited about him. He does so many things that won't show up in the boxscore that impacts winning. Even if he never reaches the level of a Lowry...there's a lot of benefits to having a guy like that on your team. I think he's got the sort of energy/intensity that'll rub off positively on the whole team.

Would definitely give him minutes over JFL and Carton, both of whom don't defend well.

Love this kid. I had him ranked in my top 15 players in the draft. I believe he's going to be a steal, and he wound up in the perfect situation and perfect city, where the fans are familiar with and appreciate this guard archetype. He shot 61% at the rim, which is elite for a guard. If he can get his three point shooting to between 35-39% watch out.
