Miles Bridges.. I wouldn't mind still, but the team needs a PF still badly, and it shouldn't be Batum. I would be more into the Bridges move, past off course issues can't do anything about, but that was moreso before Derrick Jones Jr. signing.
Bridges would help respectably replace Paul George, but isn't really someone who should be playing PF on a regular, game-long basis. DJJ needs to come off the bench if Miles Bridges is brought in, which is a different and better scenario -- that I I definitely like, and would be what the team would have to do to have a balanced roster.
There simply aren't enough decent PFs to go around in the NBA. According to Basketball Reference, Miles played 92% of his time two years ago at the 4, and 69% the year before that. Close enough for "positionless basketball." We were starting the 6-5 Mann, ffs, and letting it sort itself out.

Whatever keeps Kawhi's ligaments from having to guard Zion and other PFs on a nightly basis is a win in my book. Also, he'd give us shooting and shotmaking at that position, not to mention durability.

Definitely wasn't aware of the off court issues. But it seems we are trying to be the redemption team already with KPJ and Primo. I would take Bridges a legit 4, have a bigger front line with Zu and Kawhi letting him be the 3 and mostly help him out defensively. While saving Kawhi for more offensively because we are gonna need it. Have Bamba, Nico and DJJ come off the bench. You end up with some depth there.
Eh, I mean Bridges may work at the four.. I haven't watched him enough as most people have not to fully gauge his versatility on defense and how well he rebounds... good numbers rebounding the ball at least. Also have to consider he's been on a bad Charlotte team for his career, so would have to see how he translates to a legit playoff team.
Before his DV incident, he would of been an all-star as he broke out that season, 2021-2022 I think.
To me he's more of a pure SF than a hybrid forward at PF, which goes into how flexible and solid a team's defensive ability is, and how well they'll rebound the ball.
He could do a decent job taking the load off of Kawhi at PF. He would do a considerably better job than starting Mann, yes.
Maybe would be like a PJ Washington and more talented offensively, and more athletic.
Overall, I'd probably rather get John Collins of the two to be the starting PF, because he has a bit more size even if he isn't a special defender or overly cagey ; but adding Bridges would supplant the talent left behind by Paul George at a much lesser monetary cost.
Jalen Smith would of been basically perfect. Maybe LAC can trade for him next season : )
