Quick thought: Sexton to Atl.

Not a fleshed out idea yet but I was thinking that Sexton would be an excellent fit in Atl if he plays the backup 1 and a few min at 2.

Maybe he makes too much for this role for Atl but I think he would fit seamlessly into their offensive and defensive schemes.

I don't see it. Sexton cannot play with Trae effectively and Trae is likely a 35+ minute guy. Sexton playing with Bogdon is not a good pairing either. I just don't see Atlanta as the team willing to give the value for Sexton that Utah would want.

yeah i also feel like Sexton isnt a good fit for the Hawks, but im curious what you were thinking the Hawks would offer? What is Sexton worth?

I think Jazz trade Lauri and Sexton remains as the culture piece in Utah. Small scoring guards, even an extremely efficient one such as Sexton just have limited market/value. The position is just too watered down. Ainge already said he wants the young kids working out with Sexton since he never leaves the gym.

Honestly before Sexton i would probably go after Derozan as another scoring option. To me a big C like Kat, Ayton, Kesller is main priority to upgrade that position. We really could have used Melton or Delon as backup PG but we failed on that one lol.
