Jonathan Isaac, Magic Agree To Five-Year, $84M Renegotiate-And-Extend Contract

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Tue Jul 2, 2024 9:15 pm

Jonathan Isaac and the Orlando Magic have agreed to a five-year, $84 million renegotiate-and-extend contract. Isaac had one season remaining on his four-year, $69.6 million extension signed in 2020.

Isaac missed the 20-21 and 21-22 seasons due to injury while returning at the end of the 22-23 season. In 58 games last season, Isaac averaged 6.8 points and 4.5 rebounds in 15.8 minutes. Isaac is widely considered one of the NBA's best defensive players.

There's gotta be some clause in the contract that lowers the money if his leg falls off right?

“God, it’s me, Jonathan”.
