Who?

I think it's Paul George. If so would take a flier on him on a min deal.

Was hoping it was Paul Bunyon, to be honest. We need more size plus he has an axe to grind.

Lac depth chart will be interesting to monitor. It still seems like they could use a big, and have a glut of guards.

I had been taking that for granted, but technically it's still too soon to tell. Have to see if he walks after camp opens.

Stotts was rolling his eyes at summer league last year

Mann for Bobby seems like a completely uninteresting trade that I guess makes some sense. I also think we're "losing" that trade though.

If BballPaul gets waived one of the four teams $20-30mil below the cap atm will claim him. I wonder if Utah can since they signed him to the offer sheet last summer that Philly matched?

Not even close.

They could really use Bobby. I don't know if Mann excites me though

I wouldn’t find Mann all that exciting, but I’d prefer him over Bruce Brown.

Mann does also have a nice track record of stepping up in the playoffs, and I think a lot of it is that he handles physicality well.

He’s a solid defender, not awesome, but also leagues beyond Beasley. He’d be a sensible target, and maybe we could extract a little value out of Lac.

Charles Bassey is an intriguing big man project that’s sitting on San Antonio’s roster I keep circling back to.

Bucks in - Keldon Johnson and Charles Bassey

Spurs in - Brook Lopez and Pat Connaughton

Saves us 10.9m.

Still doesn’t solve the inevitable problem we have at the starting SG spot but perhaps we can go after Caleb Martin now instead of vet min guy?

Dame/Martin/Khris/Giannis/Bassey
Delon/AjG/AjJr/Keldon/Bobby
Beauchamp/vet min

While I agree in general, Green does have an impressive stat profile nonetheless.

Is Gary Trent Jr. a realistic option? I didn’t think he’d be a minimum FA but I wouldn’t hate it. He’s pretty similar to Beasley offensively, how does the defense compare?

Find a 3rd team for Johnson.

Really? I didn’t know that. That kinda sucks then. He’s intriguing, still on 23 I would hope he could eventually have a coming out party ala Daniel Gafford. Not if he’s injured tho, that changes things I guess.

What position? He’s an undersized forward, there’s really nowhere in the starting 5 for him. Even in a small ball Giannis at 5 lineup, Keldon might only have a “hot hand” role. He’s a weird player to fit in. He can’t play guard, hes too small to play PF consistently and there’s never gonna be a situation where you’d have him over Khris unless it’s the obvious and Khris isn’t playing a game.

Never will happen, it works financially

Bucks get: Reaves / Vandy/sengun
rockets get D’Lo / Middleton
lakers get Lopez/ Brooks

As a follow up - Lakers sign CP3 and Derozen to Vet min deals.

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
