Who?

I think it's Paul George. If so would take a flier on him on a min deal.

A former Wizard has ended the season on the championship winning team for the last 7yrs in a row. Let’s trade with them.

The same. He's not good. Doesn't handle the ball, doesn't help rebound.

I like the plan until you look at what's left on their roster. Oof

He's better than Beaz though on D unless he's completely quit on it the last few years. If you can get him on the min of course you do it, but no way he's a min guy so I don't see the route. And is he really a guy you'd want to give like 4/60 to even if we could? Eh, probably not. Good player to have when he was on his 2nd rd rookie deal, not so much now that he's being paid legit contracts. ETA: I guess there is a theoretical discussion on would you swap Portis for him for roughly the same 11ish mil contract. Pure hypothetical though.

Crazy how many swing we've taken on 2nd rd picks since trying for a guy like Trent out of it and have struck out so far, since Brogdan

Bucks in - Keldon Johnson and Charles Bassey

Spurs in - Brook Lopez and Pat Connaughton

Saves us 10.9m.

Still doesn’t solve the inevitable problem we have at the starting SG spot but perhaps we can go after Caleb Martin now instead of vet min guy?

Dame/Martin/Khris/Giannis/Bassey
Delon/AjG/AjJr/Keldon/Bobby
Beauchamp/vet min

AjJo/Smith/Livingston

Keldon would be the starter for sure

What position? He’s an undersized forward, there’s really nowhere in the starting 5 for him. Even in a small ball Giannis at 5 lineup, Keldon might only have a “hot hand” role. He’s a weird player to fit in. He can’t play guard, hes too small to play PF consistently and there’s never gonna be a situation where you’d have him over Khris unless it’s the obvious and Khris isn’t playing a game.

I think he could guard 1-4 at his size, so I’d play him between Dame and Khris and put him in the dunker spot on O. With Dame, Khris and GA he will get plenty of good open looks in the right spots

Nehm makes it sound like Delon should be more of a backup PG than starting SG:

Wright averaged 4.5 points and 1.8 rebounds in 15.8 minutes per game across 47 games for the Washington Wizards and Miami Heat last season, knocking down a respectable 36.8 percent from 3. He has served as a capable backup, and early in his career, he could be a problem for defenses as a second-unit slasher. The majority of Wright’s value now, however, manifests itself on the defensive end. Throughout his career, Wright has provided disruptive defense against point guards and also shown an ability to guard shooting guards.

With more moves to make, it remains to be seen exactly what Wright’s role will be in Milwaukee, but he could be an effective part of a defensive game plan against the league’s top scoring guards, especially with Antetokounmpo and Brook Lopez on the backline to help protect the rim.

In Washington, Wright earned the nickname “King of Deflections” from The Athletic’s Hall of Fame NBA scribe David Aldridge, and it’s easy to see why when you take a closer look at the film. The 32-year-old combo guard possesses an exceptional ability to get his hands on passes or poke away the dribble from opponents as a help defender.

Love that, didn’t even realize it. Bobby and Pat C for Kuzma works, that could shake things up.

Trent is actually worse than Beasley on D.

The majority of league minimum guys should be backups. But if Horst doesn't have something fall into his lap, I expect Delon will start.

If he does start I hope Ajax gets more opportunity to play PG. Just asking for 10min until AJ Magic is ready

No, this is a lot more positive than we ever were about Bease's D.

I'm comfortable with the guards on the roster. There's a decent mix of playable guys plus a pretty interesting prospect. They're all smart players and will figure out how to play with that group given Beasley's minutes.

I'd say do what you need to do to get a long, mobile, active big. Sign Wenyen to a camp deal now so you have a fall back.

Griffin did one thing right in his short era in Milwaukee. Gave a lot of PT to the young guys in these meaningless regular season games. I hope Doc does the same thing at least until the deadline.

AJJ/Marjon/AJ are not rookies any more after all. They are 23-25 y/o. Horst has been smart so far with the current roster structure to force Doc’s hand play these guys.

Go get Saric, Horts. Can play PF and C, rebounds and he's a passer. Haven't had a passer next to Giannis since Cousins.

Yeah, I'm not sure where the Trent Jr being a bad defender got tossed around. His issues are mostly gambling too much on defense, but he's competent at the very least. Beasley was a literal traffic cone at times staring at the live action and not moving.
