deals like this make me respect LeBron less

if he isn't making All NBA teams on that contract he's making his team worse.

Now why Pelinka didn't try to sign Jonas is another question assuming Lebron was even willing to take the haircut for him.

Can't really say I'm surprised. James has been the most selfish superstar I've seen in my lifetime. He makes young Kobe look like a team player...it's just sad tbh.

I think what this really is, is Bron taking a last payday so he can one day put in majority ownership for a team (something he's been public about). It's an interesting time in the NBA as many of these players' new contracts put them in positions where over the span of their career, they will actually make more than some owners paid for the team they were on. What dynamics does this produce? How do owners continue to run their franchises when the player has more bargaining power?

Let's be honest, LeBron gets more hate over mundane things over any other player in history.

I don't blame him for taking that contract, he gave Pelinka a chance to add some players and he failed.
